It was Febuary 13, 1997 at 2:55p.m. When the phone rang at me house. It
was a phone call to tell me and my family that my Step-daddy had been
shot. They didn't think that he was going to make it.Buy the time we
got to the hospital.They had told us that he probaly wasn't going to
make it.He had got shot in the back of the head. The guy who had did
it came in our store and fired 12 shots in our store. The second on
hit Ricky in the back of the head. They told us that he was going to be
brain dead. On Feburary 14,1997 at 2:30 P.M. they pronounced him brain
dead .Him and my mother was only married for 15 monthes. But they had
5 years toghther. I have never seen her in so much pain. Then  a year
and a half later my mother almost got killed in an armed robbory she
had her throut slashed 7 times. An the guy left her for dead. Just
please don't take nothing for granted please. THe guy who murder my
step-dad is in jail for the rest of his life for some thing that was
so stupid of him. The guy who tried to kill my mom has 20 years. But
he will probaly die in jail he is now 52 years old. thank you for
