 yesterday the morning sun rose without you
     my tears fell with the rain
 today i listened for your voice , all was quiet
     ... the sun sets ...

 night falls , the stars dance around one on top of the other
      you're near me ... your voice whispers ,
            " i miss you too! "
 stargazer , so fragrant , the flower on your wreath ,
     how appropriate ... you gazed , you wished ...
                so did i !

       the moon is out , so full , so bright
           the rays filter through my hair
       god hushes the wind , i hear you still ...
       " you're the only one for me "
                  dono , so are you ! 

 finally sleep , you follow me in to my draems ...
              donovino come back to me ,
         you say , " i never left , remember
             valerie wherever you go ... "
 i awake tomorrow is her again ... so are the tears
             another day without you
